About Us
A local design duo turned creative flagship.
Flagship City Press was born from the creative partnership of two Erie designers, Corinne Kraus and Dena Rupp—friends, collaborators, and former coworkers who first worked together at Kimkopy Printing. What started as a small collection of Erie-inspired greeting cards has grown into a full creative brand and storefront built around community, craftsmanship, and hometown pride.
Today, FCP is both a studio and a shop. We design and locally print our own line of stationery and paper goods, while also curating a mix of products from regional makers and national brands we love. The result is a space that blends handcrafted design with a thoughtful, modern retail experience rooted in the place we call home.
Our Roots
Corinne has worked at Kimkopy Printing for twenty plus years, taking on the manager role in 2019. Kimkopy Printing is a long-standing family-run print shop that has supported countless local organizations, artists, and small businesses across the region. Her depth of experience in print production and her connection to the creative community are foundational to FCP’s process.
Dena is the owner of Purrista Cat Cafe, where community, local collaboration, and joyful experiences are at the heart of the business. Her lifelong love of stationery and meaningful correspondence—combined with her small-business background and passion for creating warm, welcoming spaces—bring a personal and heartfelt touch to everything we design.
Together, their shared background at Kimkopy and their complementary creative strengths shaped the vision behind Flagship City Press.
Still Keepin’ It Local
All Flagship City Press paper goods are printed right here in Erie through our partners at Kimkopy Printing and McCarty Printing. Supporting local, family-run shops and small-batch production keeps creativity and commerce close to home.
While our storefront now offers a curated selection of items beyond our own designs, including pieces from regional makers and national brands, our identity remains local at its core. When you visit the shop, join a workshop, or send one of our cards, you’re supporting a creative ecosystem that thrives because of the people who live and work in this community.
